Pablo was appointed President & General Manager for the Andean, Caribbean & Central American Region for Syngenta in 2004, covering 22 countries and based in the regional office in Bogota; he joined Syngenta in 2003 as Marketing Head.  Syngenta is the largest agribusiness input supplier in the world and the leader in Agriculture Technology with sales over $12 billion and presence in more than 140 countries worldwide.

Prior to Syngenta Pablo served as Director of Asociación Nacional de Industriales ANDI  (1.5 years).  He worked in Monsanto Co. for over 15 years:  in roles as Commercial Head in Sao Paulo, Brazil (2.5 years); Global Expansion Director in M&A  in St Louis, MO (1.5 years); Business Unit Manager US Markets in Denver, CO (3 years); Global  Product Strategy Manager in St Louis, MO (1.5 years) and several position in management in the Andean Region (7 years).  Prior to Monsanto he worked in Corfinsura in several areas such as: credit, treasury, administrative (3 years).

Pablo holds a degree in Business Administration from CESA Business Scholl in Bogota; additional studies in Columbia University, Insead, IMD and The Center for Creative Leadership.  He participates in Boards such as :Crop Life Latin-American,  ANDI and Compañia Mundial de Seguros SA.  Pablo is a strong believer of the Personal Social Responsibility where he participates actively with Best Buddies in new programs of working inclusion, Ecoaguas program in re-establishing over 700.000 native trees in Cauca and Valle. He is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish; He is married and has three children.
