Jorge Born, Jr. is the Deputy Chairman of Bunge Limited, a NYSE quoted agribusiness company operating world wide with over 10000 employees in Latin America. He is also a Director of the Sao Paulo quoted company Dufry South America, with duty free sales in most countries in the region, and part of the Dufry AG group, leader of duty free sales world wide. Mr. Born is also a Director of Hochschild Mining PLC, a London quoted mining group with activities in Argentina, Chile, México and Peru. He is also President and CEO de Bomagra S.A a privately held real estate, farming and technology company with operations in Argentina and Uruguay. Mr. Born has a B.Sc in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, is a member of Wharton‘s Latin American Board and a member of the Board of Governors of Wharton‘s Lauder Institute. Mr. Born is also a member of Georgetown University’s Latin American Board. Mr. Born is President of the Fundación Bunge y Born, Argentina’s leading charitable institution. He is also a member of the Board of the Born – Bunge Foundation in Antwerp; Belgium‘s leading neurological research institution. He lives in Buenos Aires, is married and has three children.
